As part of our project ans also as a preparation for the coming visit of our parteners we asked everybdy to write about their country specific tree and then we bought  them and plant it in our school yard . This activity is aimed also to raise awareness upon the deforestration that is affecting a lot our areas in Romania . Deforestration is a big challenge for us because there are a lot of illegal wood cuts and people think for a material benefit but dot see the impact of this on human life, animal life  and land sliding.

Apple harvesting and pressing

We have now completed a project on loal production of food. We have been involved in harvesting, production and sales. We have picked the apples in a local park. Then they are squeezed to juice at Fonte Verdi Fruit Pressery in Molde. Big thanks to the holder Ton Hazes that is so generous and invited us to come and press apples with him. (low transport = low emissions) - Choose healthy, good ingredients? (100% natural without additives) - work for less food waste? (we utilize resources that otherwise had not been used) Finally, the product was sold at a local Christmas market that the school arranged. There we had a separate Erasmus department. What tastes best? Food which is fresh, or food expired on date?   Written by Marco, Sara, Camilla and Kristupas   We made a test for everyone at school. Those who participated in the test did not know which food items who was fresh or expired on date. This is the food items we tested: Carrot, egg, potato chips, yogurt, soda, juice, chewing gum, banana, milk and cheese. This is what we found: Almost 50% said that fresh food and food expired on date tasted the same. 20 % said that food expired on date tested best. 30 % said that fresh food tested best.     Prepering for testing yogurt.    Potato chips.      Cheese.   Orangejuice.    Drinking cocoa.   Food testing.   We made a test paper.       Testing fresh food/food expired on date.                      ...
